Michael Sheridan - Junior Video Editor
Before joining Channel 4 in 2021, I worked in digital teams at Netflix, The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), Manchester International Festival, the BBC and more. I love editing, constructing a story and developing ideas and then seeing them through to fruition. What attracted me to Channel 4 was its remit to be inclusive and difference. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community, I'm passionate about making change and having social impact, which I believe I contribute to by working here.
Heather Campbell - Digital Producer
I started at Channel 4 in December 2020. I have always been a fan of Channel 4's programming, and having worked with ITV and BBC on their socials, the prospect of 4Studios was really exciting; I loved the idea of supporting linear TV shows as well as the prospect of digital originals. What I enjoy most about working at Channel 4 is knowing that everything we’re making has a purpose. We know who are audiences are, we know what they want and we know how to cater to them on socials.
Demi Mantell - Commercial Partnerships Manager
I started at Channel 4 in April 2021. I’ve always been interested in the broadcast space so transitioning over to Channel 4 was something I’d hoped to do for a long time. Channel 4 was always the aim as the brand pushes the boundaries that, in my opinion, other broadcasters don’t – it’s paving the way for many important movements!
Jack Davies - Assistant Programme Information Editor
I work within the Programme Information Department, writing and editing the synopsis you sell on All 4, and the TV guides you see on your tele'. I wanted to work at Channel 4 because I'm a big fan of television, and I believe in what the channel stands for. I often speak to my friends about the kind of benefits we get, the way we are cared for, and they can't believe my luck!
Matilda Ho - Reward Analyst
I started my time here at Channel 4 as an Apprentice back in 2018. I then managed to land my current position as a Reward Analyst in our People team. Channel 4 is the friendliest organisation I have ever worked for and it’s got such a vibrant vibe both in the office and remotely! Amongst all the other big TV channels, Channel 4 reigns supreme when it comes to repping unheard voices and championing inclusion & diversity. That was a game changer for me when I was looking for a job.
Nathan Price - Production Apprenctice
I am a digital production apprentice in 4Creative, which involves everything from wrangling footage for editors to making crazy photoshop comps for department meeting presentations. I started working at Channel 4 in March 2021 and absolutely love it. I really wanted to land a job a Channel 4 because of its individuality, creativity and the inclusive environment here.
Eleanor Chipperfield - Internal Communications Creative and Channel Lead
I work within the People team at Channel 4, producing a lot of internal graphic design and looking after our intranet, lovingly called MOSS, named after Richard Ayoade's character in IT Crowd. What I most enjoy about working at Channel 4 is feeling of collective pride in our output, not just on-air but also internally across our employee networks. Through these groups employees can affect change in the organisation, which can even ripple and affect other organisations too.
Landy Slattery - Creative Director for Channel 4 streaming
I started working for Channel 4 in 2006 when 4oD was first launched. I look after the day to day marketing for Channel 4 streaming which includes the programme trails, out of home posters and social media assets, also collaborating with the product team to ensure we give viewers and users the best Channel 4 experience. I also co-founded and co-chair 4Women, our women's employee network, which is a real passion point for me.
Claire Hodges - Agency Sales Manager
I joined Channel 4 seventeen years ago, feeling compelled to work here as it was the only channel that provided an alternative voice. What I love most about Channel 4 is the people; they create an environment that is fun, collaborative, and inclusive, which creates a sense of belonging and engages employees.
Claire Penswick - Quality Assurance Delivery Lead
I joined Channel 4 in April 2020 during the first Covid Lockdown, which was a very well organised experience; I was well supported and have been working remotely ever since! The workplace culture is open, fun, diverse and collaborative. I am very proud to work for Channel 4 and of the work that we do.
