Production Training Scheme

Production Training Scheme

Production Training Scheme

The Channel 4 Production Training Scheme is aimed at people who may face barriers to access a career in the television industry.

Production Training Scheme

Applications for the Production Training Scheme, Paralympics cohort are now OPEN. Please visit: https://www.c4productiontrainingscheme.com/

This year, as part of our commitment to recruiting and promoting disabled talent in television, Channel 4 is recruiting for the Paralympics Production Training Scheme. We will have 19 opportunities for disabled people who want to start their careers in either factual entertainment or sports-based content. Successful candidates will be working for a production company for a period of 12 months alongside support and training delivered by thinkBIGGER!

There are opportunities available across the UK – in locations including Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Chepstow, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Manchester.

Applicants applying for this scheme may already have a degree in Film and Television (or related) or have some previous experience of the television industry through running, work experience or short-term placements, but no more than three (3) months cumulatively.

If successful, you’ll spend a week in TV Boot Camp to get things underway. Here, you’ll hear from graduates of the scheme and Commissioning Editors who’ll give you the lowdown on what it takes to succeed. Then your career in TV starts for real at your production company - but we’ll still see you once a month for training to help you further your career.
