Felix Jones- Acquisitions Manager

I work in the Programme Acquisitions team at Channel 4: a small team with a big remit! My role involves sourcing finished programmes across all genres for acquisition – with a particular focus on reading and evaluating scripts and treatments to pre-buy dramas (recent examples include In Flight and Patience) before they enter production, as well as acquiring library boxsets for C4 Streaming. Should we wish to make an offer on a programme, we negotiate the licence deal with the supplier and then look after the programme until its launch on the channel.

Charlotte Michael- Senior Portfolio Lead, 4Skills

I work in our 4Skills team in Leeds, overseeing all of our projects: whether that’s working with kids in schools across the UK to consider careers in TV, helping people get their first role in the industry through an apprenticeship or training scheme, or working with commissioners and independent production companies to grow the sector outside of London. Channel 4 is an amazing place to work – it’s packed full of brilliant, passionate people and I feel very lucky to have built my career here up in Leeds.

Cameron McKinnon, Senior Sustainability Manager

My role at Channel 4 is cover all things Sustainability and to help us to achieve our climate goals. I work across the channel to understand our emissions and reduce them across our main departments. I was attracted to the role because of its potential to make meaningful change with a brand aligned to my values. I am based in the Leeds office, I am new in the television and media industry and so far, it’s been a joy to work for Channel 4.

Sarah Luke- Head of EPMO (Enterprise Portfolio Management Office)

My role is to work across the Channel to ensure we have everything we need to deliver against our Fast Forward Strategy. From making sure we’ve got the right tools and templates to help people manage their projects and sharing best practice, to ensuring we’re working on the right things and investing our money in the right projects to drive our transformation forwards. I love working at Channel 4, every day is different and comes with new surprises, the people are brilliant, and you can feel the passion everyone shares for our purpose in everything we do.

Breena Egan-Wrigley- Press and Publicity Apprentice

Ever since joining Channel 4 at the start of 2025 as Press & Publicity apprentice, I have had SO many incredible opportunities; assisting with screening and launch events, accompanying contribs and talent onto TV/radio appearances and even interviewing Paloma Faith, Jamie Oliver and the interim CEO of Channel 4!

Equity & Inclusion

Equity & Inclusion

Equity & Inclusion

Channel 4 holds an important role in a changing world. We exist to create change, and we do this by representing unheard voices, challenging with purpose, and constantly reinventing entertainment. In a world facing deep political divisions, ongoing debates about identity, and changing viewer habits, it’s critical we stay true to and deliver our remit.

We’ve led our industry in diversity and inclusion, both as a broadcaster and an employer. From Desmond's, the first black sitcom first broadcast by Channel 4 in 1989, to our ground-breaking coverage of the Paralympic Games, Channel 4 has brought previously neglected experiences and perspectives into the mainstream.

Amber Fox - Assistant Producer Publisher

Before joining Channel 4 in 2022 as a Social Media Apprentice on Film4, I was enrolled at university. However, I soon realised that university wasn’t the right path for me. After making the decision to leave, I came across the Channel 4 apprenticeship programme.
